SK Long Pelutan Baram redevelopment completed
The highly anticipated construction of Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Long Pelutan in the Baram district has officially reached completion.
According to the Public Works Department (PWD) Sarawak the extensive redevelopment project encompassed the construction of 12 distinct building blocks along with essential supporting facilities.
At the heart of the newly completed SK Long Pelutan is a brand-new four-storey administration block that houses six spacious classrooms.
The project also successfully delivered a dedicated dining hall block, two modern student hostel blocks, and two designated toilet blocks.
Aside from student and administrative blocks, the school also now boast three semi-detached, barrack-type teachers’ quarters to provide comfortable living spaces for teachers and staff.
In addition to that, the school was equipped with two pump houses and a dedicated generator set (genset) house ensuring consistent supply of clean water and electricity to support the school’s daily operations.
