Sibu opens public mini water park for children

Sibu now has its own mini water park dedicated to children below 1.2m of height.

The mini water park is officialy known as Sibu Municipal Council Delta Mini Water Park, and it has been operational since 16 December 2024.

Based on a post by the Sibu Municipal Council (SMC), the water park can be used by kids aged 2 to 12 years only, with those exceeding 1.2m not allowed to enter unless they are the accompanying parent or guardian to the children.

In addition to that, swimwear is also compulsory to all using the mini water park.

The water park is open from 4PM to 8.30PM on Mondays to Saturdays, with two timeslots made available on Sundays: 9AM to 11AM; and 4PM to 8.30PM.

Where is the Mini Water Park

The Sibu Municipal Council Delta Mini Water Park is located just beside the Delta Swimming Pool, which is a public pool managed by the Sibu Municipal Council.

Entry to the pool is charged at RM1 for kids under 12, with adults needing to pay RM2. For season passes, kids are charged RM15, while adults are charged RM30.

The Delta Swimming Pool also rents out lockers at RM0.50 per locker with a RM5 deposit.
