Pullman host annual Christmas Tree Light Up in newly renovated lobby

On December 3, 2025, Pullman Kuching hosted its annual Christmas Tree Light Up, welcoming nearly 200 guests to its newly renovated lobby.
This cherished tradition officially marked the start of the festive season in a warm atmosphere, reflecting the hotel’s refreshed identity as a place for connection and community in Kuching.
The celebration was distinguished by the launch of the hotel’s Christmas Diversity, Equality, and Inclusivity (DEI) campaign.

This initiative, announced alongside seasonal dining, involved a collaboration with the Kuching Autistic Association (KAA), which brought their children and families into the joyful event to underscore a powerful message of inclusion and compassion.
General Manager Mr. Sunardi Song stated that hospitality is deeply rooted in people, community, and care.
He emphasized that Christmas at Pullman Kuching is fundamentally about togetherness, shared experiences, and the joy of celebrating as one cohesive community.
Mr. Song highlighted that DEI are core pillars of the hotel’s culture. The launch of support for KAA honors the association’s mission: to tirelessly empower people with autism to achieve their full potential and lead independent, fulfilling lives.
During the evening, guests enjoyed melodic music while mingling among displays of KAA children’s creativity. The lobby showcased artwork and festive merchandise crafted by the children. These creations served as a thoughtful reminder to all guests about the value of understanding and shared celebration during the holidays.

Pullman Kuching also made known two specific fundraising initiatives to support KAA’s programs, as listed below.
- A portion of the proceeds from the Christmas Eve Buffet Dinner will be contributed to KAA’s educational efforts,
- Pullman Kuching has introduced a dedicated KAA Merchandise Corner in the lobby, ensuring 100% of sales directly support the organization.
This partnership aligns with the hotel’s broader community commitment, which includes its long-running commitment to the Penan Women Project.
Guests are therefore invited to celebrate the holidays at the refreshed Culina Restaurant of Pullman Kuching, where festive dining allows them to gather with loved ones while contributing to meaningful community giving.
