MyCEB tie up collaboration with Centexs Commercial Services Sarawak

Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) has recently announced a groundbreaking collaboration with Centexs Commercial Services (CCS).

CCS is a Government-Linked Company (GLC) under the Sarawak Government.  It was established in 2019 with a mission to amplify the commercialisation value of heritage products and foster opportunities for local entrepreneurs in Sarawak.

According to MyCEB’s statement, the collaboration not only allows MyCEB to bolster its efforts to position Malaysia as a global business events powerhouse but also fostering a healthy synergy between the national bureau and local stakeholders.

Through this strategic alliance, MyCEB aims to unlock new opportunities for local entrepreneurs and provide them with a platform to showcase their talents and products to a global audience.

The Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) between MyCEB and Centexs Commercial Services also signifies more than just a formal agreement, as it represents a shared vision to harness Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage and innovative spirit to drive sustainable growth in the business events sector.

As part of this collaboration, MyCEB will leverage its extensive network and expertise to support CCS’s initiatives in promoting and marketing products made by community-based entrepreneurs and nurturing the technical and digital skills of Sarawak’s youth.

Together, both organisations will work hand in hand to co-develop training programmes, exchange market intelligence, and explore innovative approaches to enhance the business events experience in Malaysia.

In addition to the MOC, MyCEB also took part in several activities during the visit to Sarawak.

These activities included a dinner with the Sarawak business events industry stakeholders, participation in the Asia Pacific Green Hydrogen 2024 conference to highlight Malaysia’s sustainability efforts, and a courtesy visit to TV Sarawak (TVS) to improve communication and visibility.
