With the month of Ramadan nearing, the Kuching North City Commision (DBKU) is opening up to 234 stall areas in Ramadan Bazaars for rent to interested traders.
According to a statement by the local authority, the stall areas are located in three areas within their jurusdiction, namely Satok, Semarak and Sukma Ria.
The Ramadan Bazaar in Sukma Ria will be the biggest among the three, offering up to 116 stalls areas, with the ones at Satok and Semarak having 94 and 24 respectively.
Rates of each stall vary according to location, but begin from RM300, with a ceiling price of RM500.
Interested traders can apply to rent the stall areas from Wednesday, 7 February 2023, from 9AM until 5PM, or via DBKU’s portal.
The council noted that lots for the Kuching North Ramadan Bazaars will be drawn on Saturday, 2 March 2024.
Stall areas will be rented out based on ‘First come First Serve’ basis.
