The i-CATS University College will build its new campus in Telaga Air.
According to Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS), the new campus will be located near Kampung Trombol and RM200 million had already been set aside to start construction.
Premier of Sarawak Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg was quoted as saying construction of the new campus will begin in 2023.
Currently, i-CATS University College is located at Jalan Stampin Timur, with the college offering courses in Engineering, Business, Hospitality, Accounting, Plantation, Computing and Foundation.
The college is fully owned by PPKS Ilmu Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary company of Pusat Pembangunan Kemahiran Sarawak (PPKS) or Sarawak Skills Development Centre (SSDC).
