Hilton Kuching completes major renovation, blending modern luxury with Sarawak’s heritage

Hilton Kuching has completed an extensive, design-led renovation, transforming the guest experience with a focus on family-friendly offerings, enhanced business amenities, and new dining concepts.

According to the hotel’s press release, a key highlight is the introduction of several firsts for the Kuching city, including Malaysia’s first Hilton Kids Club, a dedicated and supervised space with an indoor play zone, reading corner, and interactive games.

The hotel has also fully redesigned its guestrooms and public spaces, which now feature stunning floor-to-ceiling views of the Sarawak River and city skyline.

These rooms blend contemporary Southeast Asian style with bamboo-inspired motifs and subtle retro touches, providing a sophisticated yet locally inspired stay.

The renovation also brings an array of elevated dining and wellness facilities. The River View Café now offers an expanded grill selection and enhanced buffet stations, while the Toh Yuen Chinese restaurant has been refreshed to serve classic Cantonese cuisine with a distinctive Sarawak twist.

For those seeking relaxation, the revitalized pool deck now includes a dedicated kids’ pool, and the gym has been upgraded with state-of-the-art equipment.

The hotel’s Executive Lounge has been reimagined as an exclusive haven for Hilton Honors Diamond members and Executive Floor guests, offering a private retreat with sweeping river views and personalized service.

Adding to its new offerings, Hilton Kuching will introduce RYE, Hilton’s signature whiskey-forward speakeasy, in Q4 2025.

This new bar will blend vintage charm with contemporary flair, providing an intimate setting for guests to enjoy an extensive selection of premium whiskeys, signature cocktails, and bar bites inspired by local ingredients.
